The Royal Welsh Show Ground in Builth Wells calls Ponds 4U to clean pools ready for 2016 show.

Ponds 4U undertakes pond clearances and cleans for ponds and lakes – both big and small.

The latest large scale pond clearance came after a call from the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells who urgently required the pools within the showground cleared ready for the ever popular Royal Welsh Show.

The ponds had overtime gathered a covering of unsightly weeds and other growth and with the huge crowds expected at the show the organisers wanted them looking at their very best.

After spending a week at the venue clearing, cleaning and and landscaping the ponds, the water features were ready for the highlight of the year – The Royal Welsh Show.

Ponds 4U cleans Llantwit Major West Street Pond after 30 years of waiting!

On June 25th Llantwit Major Town Council arranged for the town West Street Pond to be cleaned after a period of 30 years.

Ponds 4U was contracted by the council to clean the pond who also arranged assistance from the Llantwit Major Fire Services Department who offered to assist in removing the water from the pond!

It was estimated that pumping the water would take a maximum of two hours, however the amount of slurry  and sludge at the bottom of the pond made this task far more difficult than expected.

Despite the awful weather and mud, with the assistance of the local fire crew and local volunteers who also turned out to help – the project  was successfully completed.

All goes to show that no job is too big for Ponds 4U!
